The new Wembley Stadium reopened its doors in 2007 after being totally rebuilt with its iconic arch over the stadium. It is now considered one of the most modern and breathtaking arenas in the world and has been host to a number of major sporting events.
The 4,000,000 m³ stadium has recently been home to Tottenham Hotspurs for the 2017/18 season, whilst they rebuilt their new stadium at White Hart Lane.
Once the stadium was handed back to the FA, it required a full rebrand inline with FA requirements, which Glasshouse was asked to lead on.
With a tight turnaround time in order to meet the client’s deadline, we devised a project plan to ensure all deadlines were met and the team was fully briefed on the job.
Starting with the England Official Merchandise store, we overhauled the store’s interior point of sale (POS) areas, which included the print and fitting of headers throughout the entire store, vinyl till fronts and two bay areas.
Moving on throughout the stadium, we also printed and fit concourse headers for the merchandise stores inside and provided vinyl alternatives for the outdoor stores.
From receiving the initial artwork; to print; to final fitting and sign off on site, we were able to turn this around in under three days for the client.
We have since returned to the Stadium to rebrand the Wembley merchandise van ready for their under 21 game.
Get in touchThe work carried out by Glasshouse meant that requirements were met on time to reopen the stadium inline with FA brand guidelines and provided the quality expected for such an iconic arena.
